The Return of Team Bromance

I don’t know about you guys but the combination of Michael McMillian, Skars, and booze is one that never gets old.
It’s been a long time between drinks, but the return of Steve Newlin seems to have reignited the Best Bromance Ever. Not since the heady days of the season 2 hiatus have we seen these two get blind and canoodle for the camera. I miss it so.

I rather want Eric and Newlin scenes than this shitty eric bill bromance they want to do now, they will just continue to prop up Bill and make Eric look like his underling, even though he is much older than billy!!!
I’m curious to know how they use Newlin this season…please please please have scenes with the Viking! I know Steve Newlin has a crush on Jason, but he hasn’t had a glimpse of the GP. How funny would that be? And we know Eric can seduce male vampires with a simple removal of the shirt. After all, the Eric/Lafayette scenes were all enjoyable (to me, anyway).
Your not the only one who enjoyed Eric/Lala scenes. It seems like they started a little bromance in the car scene and then they just dropped it (I think Neslan mentioned in a season 3 interview that Lala was Eric’s henchman for life). I thought Lala would be Eric’s dayman but that never happened. E/L would be to awesome together so a good friendship and more scenes together probably won’t happen. Sorry to go on about that but it just annoys me.
Yes, it would be funny if Newlin lusted after Eric and Jason.

Any Eric/Steve scenes will probably be tainted by Bill too. I just wanted a Lala/Eric bromance now that would have been pure gold but no Bill/Eric have to be conjoined at the hip neck season. Vampire Lala would have been hilarious (I remember Lala’s line about da** near glammering people already). They decided to go the brujo/medium/demon route.
Michael and Alex really seem like good friends and it’s even better that he ships Eric.

I think AB is playing us Eric fans big time with all this talk about Eric/bill ‘Bromance’. I’ve been following Sunny over on True Blood Underground — glad I did, because after that finally of season 4 I cancelled my HBO.
Now I want to follow Eric and see how he deals with bill’s Renfro/Sookie…what better way to release Sookie from bill’s blood addiction than being stuck to bill like white on rice? (Bromance my ass)
I also want to see who actually blew Tara’s brains out…it wasn’t Debbie…the shot came from the window behind her. Note glass is blowing in from the window, and Debbie’s shotgun blast would have blown Tara’s face away, not the back of her head.
So glad to have my interest in TB back. And have to be hooked up to HBO for GOT anyway.
Can’t wait to see how the Viking plays with bill.
I don’t think that the writers are that smart, you will probably only get disappointed, they will drag along the bromance and contiinue to make Eric Bills underling. Bill got propped up a lot in season 4 and I cannot stomach to watch that anymore, the show is just about bill bill bill, Sookie is not even the central character on the show now.
Love these two together. I hope they get screen time together this season on TB.

Thanks for this SVB – its ridiculous how much more pleasure I get from this bromance than from the prospect of Eric and Bill ‘two for the road’ in S5. Fingers crossed we get some Eric and Steve Newlin for S5.
